Unclaimed Property Act
Legislation in Alberta and British Columbia require holders of unclaimed property to make reasonable efforts to locate and notify rightful owners. In cases where owners cannot be contacted or located, Peace Hills Insurance keeps records to facilitate the return of property.
Unclaimed property held by Peace Hills consists of insurance policy premium refunds and claims payments that have been returned as undeliverables or have remained un-cashed. If you have reason to believe you may be the owner of unclaimed property being held by Peace Hills, please e-mail us at billing@phgic.com.
Please submit all requests in writing, with supporting documentation (personal ID, proof of insurance with Peace Hills, current mailing address). Please allow four to six weeks for processing and notification of results.
